Job Title: Part-Time Coding Instructor General Responsibilities: In collaboration with the Director of Educational Development, you will design and lead engaging coding instruction sessions utilizing various programming languages, robotics, and tech tools. Key Duties: Regular meetings with the Director of Educational Development to ensure alignment on goals and strategies. Plan and deliver interactive learning sessions focused on coding. Support students in building their computer science and coding skills. Maintain open and consistent communication with the Director. Model positive academic and social behaviors. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Capability to engage with students from various backgrounds and skill levels. Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities. A commitment to student support, flexibility, and professionalism. Proficiency in teaching coding languages such as Scratch, Blockly, Swift, and Python. Experience in instructing robotics using code (Ozobot, Sphero, drones, etc.). Aptitude for using data analysis to inform instructional approaches. Ability to work independently, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Experience instructing students across diverse interests and skill levels in multiple coding platforms. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree is required along with teaching or tutoring experience, and extensive knowledge of computer science and coding. Concorde Education
