we are hiring a Process Engineer to support one of our biggest manufacturing facilities in Evansville, IN. The Process Engineer will critically analyze the current situation in the manufacturing plant and execute plans to bring a step change. We are looking for passion for engineering, high level of analytical ability, and willingness to go against the grain. We are seeking people who are creative and execute lean solutions. About The Role.. The role is divided into two broad workstreams-
Capital project execution
- Lead small capital projects (less than $100K) from ideation to commissioning.
- As part of the above, manage stakeholder communication, schedule, budget and risks.
- Ensure compliance with engineering principles, company standards and HSE standards.
Continuous improvement
- Discuss chronic issues with the team to get a deep understanding, analyze data, develop, and execute processes to improve safety, quality, and productivity of our manufacturing operations.
- Develop processes and specifications to support the manufacturing of new products or to improve existing product lines.
- Assist in troubleshooting the production process to eliminate production losses and down time due to contamination, equipment malfunction and human error.
- Facilitate continuous improvement events resulting in employee skill and knowledge development and KPI performance improvements.
Qualifications Qualifications - BS/MS in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial or similar)
- 10+ Years in a project engineering or improvement role with prior experience and demonstrated proficiency leading events utilizing established process improvement methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Food, consumer goods, chemical, or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
- Experience with packaging equipment, e.g., baggers and palletizers preferred, but not required

The typical hiring range for this role is $91404 - $154009 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
