Sr. Vice President of Software Engineering Cloud Technology Fairfield County, CT

An emerging cloud gaming company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Software Engineering to lead its growing engineering organization. The SVP of Software Engineering will be responsible for managing the day-to-day of all engineering operations. This role offers the opportunity to scale teams, drive technical strategy, and provides a path to CTO.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day engineering operations, including internal staff and external development partners.
• Build a stronger domestic engineering presence while managing globally distributed teams.
• Develop and execute initiatives around AI integration, infrastructure scaling, and long-term roadmap planning.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align engineering with business growth and upcoming fundraising efforts.
• Foster a collaborative, innovative, and startup-minded engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Proven background in gaming (console, platform, studio, or publishing experience required).
• Track record of leading engineering teams through high-growth or scaling environments.
• Exposure to AI technologies with the ability to integrate them into consumer and backend systems.
• Strong technical foundation with credibility as both a hands-on leader and executive.
• Startup adaptability combined with larger-company experience.
• Based in or able to commute regularly to Stamford, CT (NYC Metro, NJ, or Westchester candidates encouraged).
