Urgent Care Physician Assistant at Northwell Health | GoHealth Urgent Care summary:

The Urgent Care Physician Assistant provides comprehensive urgent care services to patients of all ages across multiple locations in Suffolk County. They perform minor procedures, interpret diagnostic tests, and collaborate with medical staff to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting. The role requires flexibility to float between centers, delivering care supported by advanced technology and a multidisciplinary team.

Position: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Float

Pay: $68/hour - $89/hour (experience-based range) + $5.00/hr. Premium

Location: Suffolk County

We are seeking progressive and entrepreneurial Full Time   Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants with adult and pediatric experience to join our welcoming and diverse community of Northwell providers in our Suffolk County Centers. Candidates must be willing to Float throughout Suffolk County with no scheduling restrictions and must be willing to work a combination of 8, 12, & 16 hour shifts.

Minimum Required Qualifications:  

• PA/NP: 1-2 yrs. of Full-Time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting treating all ages (6 months and older)
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), reading EKGs and X-rays.
