Urgent Care Physician Assistant at Novant Health | GoHealth Urgent Care summary:

An Urgent Care Physician Assistant provides acute care to patients ranging from infants to adults in a fast-paced urgent care setting. They perform minor procedures, interpret preliminary diagnostic tests such as EKGs and X-rays, and collaborate with a clinical team to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care. Working in a technologically advanced and well-maintained environment, they support wellness and safety through extended hour shifts and integrated health systems.

We are seeking experienced  Per Diem  Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join our  Novant-GoHealth   Urgent Care  team in the Charlotte area.

• Be the professional you envision. Collaborate with an on-site Rad Tech, and Medical Assistants as a clinical team leader. 
• Extended hour centers offer a shift differential after 8pm.

Minimum Qualifications:

• One (1) year of fulltime experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting required. 
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays required. 
• Experience treating patients ages 6 months and up in an acute care setting required. 
• Physicians need to be board certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Med-Peds.
