Who Are UPS Casual Package Delivery Drivers?

Our Casual Package Delivery Drivers are the heart of our operations. They drive our iconic brown trucks, bringing joy and convenience to our customers. If you love being outdoors, staying active, and working in a fast-paced environment, this role is perfect for you!

Your Responsibilities

As a Driver - Courier, you will:

• Deliver packages of various sizes to residential and business addresses.
• Adhere to safety and appearance standards while on the road.
• Lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Provide excellent customer service with every delivery.

What You Need to Succeed

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A valid driver’s license (no CDL required, license type varies by state).
• The ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Outstanding customer service and driving skills.
• The legal right to work in the U.S.
• A commitment to comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform.

Working Conditions

As a full-time casual package delivery driver, you can expect:

• Workdays that vary between Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday.
• Shifts lasting between eight to ten hours.

Note: This is a seasonal role, but it’s a fantastic way to start your journey with UPS. Many seasonal drivers transition into permanent positions, which come with amazing benefits, including:

• An average total compensation package of $145,000 per year for permanent drivers.
